ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

Two top 5 teams in the state went head to head on Tuesday night as Rockford traveled to Muskegon to take on the Big Reds. Muskegon came out strong out of the gate, and the Rams battled back to be down just 1 point at half time. Rockford came out of halftime and went on a scoring run to lead the game for a short period of time before the lead would go back and forth for the remainder of the game. With about 2 minutes left the Big Reds took control of the game and despite the girls effort, we fell just short. Audrey Muterspaugh led the scoring attack with 15 points, Sienna Wolfe added 10 while both Kendall Bires and Addison Wypych added 9 a piece. We look to bounce back in our next game against Howell at Cornerstone on Friday 12/19 at 8:30 pm. Then turn around to play again on Saturday 12/20 at Aquinas vs Catholic Central at 7:30, and Monday 12/22 we will play Coldwater at Cornerstone at 1pm to round out our 2025 games. Go Rams!
