Girls Varsity Bowling falls to Grand Haven 7-23

The Lady Rams Bowling team went into Sherman Bowling Center a little short handed Wednesday due to injury of one of our starters, however, they still felt confident against a really good Grand Haven team. After winning the first Baker game and having a good sized lead, the roof started to fall in and they lost game two but managed to win the totals to go into the team game portion ahead 6-4. In the team game, the ladies really struggled filling frames and converting easy spares and that was a really bad combination as they dropped 19 of the 20 points to lose their first conference match of the season and fall to 1-1. Junior October Bishop won the only point of the team match shooting 150 in game two. Junior Kyla Chapman had the high game of the night posting a 186 in game two. Next up is the Reeths-Puffer Invitational on Saturday. Let hope the ladies can shake off the loss and right the ship this weekend in Muskegon.
