The girls varsity bowling team started out a little slow Monday night with a number of splits showing up in the two Baker games. Fortunately, they were able to strike enough to split the two games and only trailed 4-6 going into the team games. They found their stride in the team games as they shot 900 and 903 to take 19 of the 20 possible points and secure their 5th conference win 23-7. The team was led by Junior Sofia DeLuccia who shot the third highest two game total in the state so far this year going 256 and 254 to shoot a 510 series. Junior Kyla Chapman continued her hot streak shooting 190 and 210 while Junior October Bishop shot her high game and high series of the season going 192 and 189. Junior Amber Montano was moved up to the Varsity team for this meet and she won her very first game and earned a conference point. Next up is a rematch against OK Red Conference leader Grand Haven at Rockford Lanes on Wednesday. The conference title is still up for grabs but this is a must win for the Lady Rams as they try to avenge their only loss this season.
