Girls Bowing takes second loss of the year

The girls bowling team went onto Station 300 to face off against Grandville for the outright conference regular season title. The girls were shorthanded as the #1 ranked bowler in the conference was out with the flu. The girls started well taking 6 of the 10 points in the baker games but in the team games they were not quite up to the Grandville girls as Grandville took 16 of the possible 20 points to win the match 20-10. Sofia DeLuccia shot a 201 in game one while Kristen Chapman came through with a 190 to win their points as did October Bishop with a 150 game. Game two was another story as our girls struggled with the changing lane conditions. Kristen Chapman came through with a 187 game in a losing effort and October Bishop claimed the only team point in game two with a 174 game. Next up is the post season tournament on Thursday at Station 300. We will need to win the event to grab a share of the conference title and let's hope the flu bug doesn't hurt us before we get there,
