The Boys Track and Field team brought home a number of medals from the GVSU Laker Challenge on Wednesday evening. Athletes needed to earn a 6th place finish or better to medal. Junior Josiah Derksen won the 1600 Meter Run with a time of 4:28.46. Sophomore Ethan Brunner earned two medals by placing 2nd place in the 60 Meter High Hurdles with a PR time and by placing 6th in the Long Jump. Juniors Noah Watson and Charlie Gavan each medaled in the 800 Meter Run by placing 3rd and 6th respectively. Junior Otto Packard completed the medaling for the Rams by taking 4th place in the Shot Put with a PR throw of 49'9.25". Go Rams!
