ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Varsity Girls battled throughout this game but were unable to come up with one last charge. This game was back and forth throughout the game with the score tied at halftime, the Rams up one at the end of the 3rd quarter only to have the game tied at the end of regulation. East Grand Rapids was able to score a couple goals in the first half of the overtime and held on to win. Senior Ella Larva had a hat trick, while sophomores Avery Maag scored 2 goals and Ava Wekenman added 2 goals along with 3 assists. Junior Kiah Kruisenga had two goals and an assist along with some key ground balls, Senior Brooke Gordon added a goal, and Junior Sydney Meisling added an assist. The Rams return to action on Monday March 30th, when they face a very talented Forest Hills Central team. Come out and cheer the team on as this will be our last home game before spring break.
