ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Seniors were ready to play and showcased their experience all over the field. Seniors Ella Larva, Brooke Gordon and Ella Wagenmaker led the way in scoring. Larva finished the day with 4 goals and 2 assists, Gordon had 3 goals and an assist and Wagenmaker added two goals. Our defensive players also got into the scoring as Senior Defender Kyla Moore scored her first goal of the year, and Sophomore Defender Ella Termaat also scored her first goal of the year. Our Sophomores and Juniors also made their mark on this game as well. Juniors Lyla Vogt and Payten Davis continue to play stellar defense along with the outstanding goaltending of sophomore Mia Mabry, the defense limited the Forest Hills team to just 5 goals. Offensively Junior Kiah Kruisenga added two goals, while sophomores Avery Maag, Ava Wekenman and Jordyn Coretti made their presence known. Maag had two goals, an assist along with 7 draw controls, Wekenman had a goal and two assists and Coretti added a goal and an assist as well. The Rams face two mote very tough opponents to end out the regular season. This Saturday they welcome Hinsdale Central from the Chicago area and follow that with a short trip to the Lake to take on Spring Lake on Monday.
