ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

Varsity Field Hockey picks up first win of the season with a 7-1 win over Hudsonville. This was a good win with several players contributing. The Rams jumped ahead early with four goals in the first quarter. Senior Alyssa Rosebery opened up the scoring just 2 and a half minutes into the game. Isabelle Schubert picked up two of her three goals on the day in the first quarter and Senior Maddie Rock added a goal to put the Rams up 4-0 at the end of one. The Rams would add 2 more goals in the second quarter when Avery Maag and Maddie Rock placed upper corner shots to increase the lead 6-0 at half. Isabelle Schubert finished out the scoring putting the Rams up 7-0 in the 3rd quarter. The Rams return to action this Saturday when they face Clarkston at the HARV. Come out and cheer on the girls as they look to make it two straight.
