ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Boys Cross Country team had 18 Rams post season best times at the Ottawa Hills Invite Session 2 Friday evening. Juniors Josiah Derksen and Noah Watson led the Rams each racing personal records and earning medals. Derksen raced to a 14th place finish with a time of 16:12.6 while Watson finished in 25th with a time of 16:27.76. Senior Hayden Lafferty was the next Ram to cross the line with a season best time of 16:35.27. Sophomore Luke Bultman raced a personal record as did Junior Charlie Gavan when they ran 16:40.84 and 17:12.75 respectively to finish the Rams scoring. A number of other Rams posted lifetime best over the 5K distance. Junior Addison Duffendach earned one in the Varsity race when he crossed the line with a time of 17:48.01. In the JV race Sophomore Rhy Schneider (17:49.95); Senior Charlie Vitkauskas (18:19.96); Sophomore Dax Hune (19:31.12); and Sophomore Demetrio Bultman (21:08.96) each raced to personal records!
