ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

Varsity loses a tough game to Chelsea 3-0. The Rams battled hard and may have played their best overall game of the year. Chelsea was extremely tough in the defensive end limiting the Rams to a low number of scoring opportunities. The Rams held the defending champs to only one goal in the first half and only trailed 1-0. Chelsea came out strong in the 2nd half and were able to create some penalty corner opportunities which resulted in them capitalizing on two which extended the lead to 3-0. We shutdown Chelsea in the 4th quarter but were unable to generate any offensive chances. The Varsity Rams look to rebound after a very tough stretch playing some of the best teams in the state. Next game is Monday at Hudsonville in their next to last conference game.
