ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Varsity Girls XC team raced to a Runner-Up team finish against the other 10 competing teams at the Cedar Springs Invite. Morgan Sanders and Jillian Lewakowski were the top two Rams with Sanders racing a lifetime best time of 19:03 which was good for 6th while Lewakowski ran a time of 19:34 which got her 9th place. Rae Defrang was the next Ram placing 11th in a time of 19:54. Claire Watson and Alyssa Mertes finished the scoring for the Rams in places 19th and 21st both racing season best times of 20:35 and 20:50 respectively. The JV race saw the Rams claim first place against the other 5 teams. Leading the JV race was the 1st and 2nd place duo of Keagan Mulka and Kyra Shaver. Addison Seppala raced to 4th place in a new personal record time of 22:30.50. Seniors Joey Sullivan and Mikayla Reddy completed the scoring with places of 5th and 7th respectively.
