ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Varsity girls came out strong on Senior night! All six seniors, Maggie Huber, Kendal Maxson, Kyla Moore, Maddie Rock, Alyssa Rosebery and Ellie Van Maanen, started the game and showed why they are such good leaders. The Rams came out quickly and scored within the first 2 minutes of the game. Seniors Rosebery, Huber and Rock all scored in the first quarter to put the Rams up 3-0. The Rams would go up 4-0 when Isabelle Schubert scored on a nice assist from Senior Kyla Moore. They scored stayed the same with the Rams leading 4-0 at Half time. Starting the 3rd quarter, Senior Maddie Rock scored her 2nd of the game to make it 5-0 Rams. Avery Maag added another goal later in the 3rd quarter to extend the lead to 6-0. The Rams controlled this game pretty much from start to finish. Maag and Schubert each added another goal in the 4th quarter to end the game in the Rams favor 8-0. It was a great night for the Seniors who contributed in much of the action tonight. These 6 seniors will be greatly missed next season! The Rams aren't quite finished yet. They will travel to Pinckney, October 1st, for their last regular season game before the post season.
