ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Rams raced to an 8th place finish in the 22 team field at the Portage Invitational Saturday. The meet, with temperatures pushing 90 degrees, featured 8 of the top 10 ranked teams in the state of Michigan. Junior Daisy Cox led the Rams effort with a 19th place finish. The next two Rams, Sophomore Morgan Sanders and Junior Rae Defrang joined Cox in medaling by placing 26th and 49th respectively. Sophomores Jillian Lewakowski and Claire Watson finished the scoring by placing 62nd and 78th. The Rams had three athletes race the JV race each earning medals.
