The Rams season continues with another impress victory, this time over the Hudsonville Eagles. The Rams rattled off 4 goals in the first quarter and never looked back. Alex Roller got the Rams started with a goal from the outside after an assist from Maddie Rock. Rock then added a goal assisted by Kyla Moore. Avery Maag would then get into the scoring book with a goal assisted by Rock. Then Kyla Moore attacked the defense and before they could react, Moore had placed a wrist shot pasted the goalie for Hudsonville. Hudsonville was not giving up and charged down the field and scored to close the gap to 4-1 in the 2nd quarter. The Rams would respond and score twice in the 2nd quarter to extend the lead to 6-1 at half. Alyssa Rosebery added a goal with an assist from Maggie Huber, and Maddie Rock scored her second goal of the game. The Rams would come out strong in the 3rd quarter and scored two more times to extend the lead to 8-1 after two goals by Isabelle Schubert. It was looking like the Rams were going to close out the game with an 8-goal mercy rule but Hudsonville played really tough down the stretch and with great pride and prevented another goal by the Rams for a quarter and a half. The Game would end 8-1 in Rockford's favor. The Rams move on to the Regional Final and will host #2 ranked Saline HS. Game time is Monday @ 7 PM on the HARV. It's an orange out so come out and cheer the girls on in this big match up!
