ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Rams raced at the MHSAA Region 1 Championships on Saturday afternoon at Allendale High School. Top finishers Josiah Derksen, Hayden Lafferty and Noah Watson earned spots to the MHSAA State Finals based upon overall individual placing crossing the line in 8th, 12th and 17th place respectively. The next two scoring Rams were Luke Bultman and Dylan McKinney finishing in 26h and 40th place. The final two racing Rams were Charlie Gavan who finished 42nd and Addison Dufendach in 43rd place. The Rams ended with a team score of 104 points which earned them 6th place overall and narrowly left them out of the Team State Championships by a mere 2 points. The final race of the day was the Post Regional Open Meet that saw 8 out of 14 Rams finish their season with season best performances or lifetime best. Rams that ended with a PR were; Rhy Schneider = 17:42.44 James Hollebeek = 18:27.53 Kaiden Dykstra = 19:05.68 Dax Hune = 19:24.69 Crew Petersen = 19:33.94 Daniel Stout = 20:29.07 Grayson Champagne = 20:47.06 Carter Handerwerker finished his season with a Season Best of 20:22.56 Go Rams!
