The Rams season came to a close with a 13th place finish out of the 27 competing teams at the MHSAA State Finals Saturday. Junior Daisy Cox was the top Ram, racing to a 20th overall finish in a season best time of 17:59.10. The top 30 finish for Cox earned her All-State honors for the second consecutive season. Sophomore Morgan Sanders was the next Ram posting a 35th place finish with a time of 18:25.9. Junior Rae Defrang raced to 118th place with a time of 19:24.5. Sophomore Jillian Lewakowski raced a time of 19:40.5 which got her 139th place. The final scorer for the Rams was Senior Alyssa Mertes who placed 170th with a time of 20:01.4. Junior Reese Defrang and Sophomore Claire Watson completed the racing for the Rams with times of 20:21.3 and 21:14.7 respectively.
